I cant figure out how to upload the video straight to this site.

This is COLD start, it does this every time. It don't do this after it warms up "200 degrees".

When you see it idle at 900-1000 RPMS, I'm holding my foot on the gas. Any other time i have my foot OFF the gas.

When I try to give it gas, it acts stupid. It stutters, as you can see.

It dies when i try to give it gas, most of the time.

It has been doing this for 6 months at least.

It still a 4g15, 12v, Like i said, i have no idle problem after the car has warmed up. "I turn it off and back on, and it idles PERFECT!"

I had a similar issue on my 4G15, are you tripping a Check Engine light?

Mine turned out to be a bad mass airflow sensor and throttle position sensor. Go with the cheapest fix first, see if it helps, move on down the line.

Yes check light is on. Not sure what codes?

The check engine light came on years ago when I put new exhaust. Because I never put a Oxygen Sensor back in it.

I've done nothing but keep oil and water in this thing since i got it. With basic tune up. It gets me from A to B.

This is the first problem i have came across and I can not come up with a explanation.

I have blown this off because the problem goes away when it warms up.

Its starting to get very annoying.

ECU i will check. There in the junk yard everywhere. Ill grab a few just to make sure.

The sensors have never been changed. :butthead:

Mass airflow sensor has be change and the problem was still there. "Might have got another bad one, it came from the junk yard"

You can check the code by connecting a 12v buzzer(you might be able to find this at radio shack or similar) to check the codes. Just connect 1 lead to the chassis, and probe around with the other wire in your diag. port for the other. Way easier and cheaper than buying a scanner. Just look on lil evo's site(lilevo.com), for the ecu codes(it's blocked by my work so I can't give you the exact address).

I didn't see the video because I'm the last holdout who refuses to join Facehole, but my guess is broken FIAV.

Ps. Seriously, no O2 sensor? You realize you could be getting 40mpg if you had one right?

Wheres the coolant temp sensor?? I just purchased a 92 plymouth colt. Im new to this. It only has 50000 miles. but the idle goes up and down and also I have to keep trying to crank it before it starts. My car will bog down before it gets to the up and down idle state.
