That last 2 timing belts i have installed have been by getting the timing belt marks lined up and then rolling the belt onto the top cam gear sorta like putting a bike chain on.. There is not a lot of room between the block and shock tower as you know. Any tips or instructions? Does it unbolt or swing out of the way?

Is this on a DOHC or SOHC engine?

Have you checked out the factory manual yet?

Dont have one. Had one with my colt and mirage, but not summit. On the last 1.5 I started to loosen the bolt, but then retightened as I didnt want anything to fall apart due to the lack of room I had to work with.
