Okay, there is one wire with a connector flopping around below the distributor (12v motor). It is black with a white stripe and a connector that appears to go just to a blade... can't figure out where it goes, and I wonder if that is causing my problems (mentioned in another thread).

Anyone know?

Electrical manual - Page 60 of 328 should get you most of the views of the harness's you want. Not sure if you have an 8V or 12V distributor setup.

Its a 12V. The harness diagram kinda helped, but not really, because its pre-12v and there is no wiring color diagram... and the Haynes manual doesn't really help either.

I think that should go to a sensor on the t-stat housing.

Really? I'll check that later today, but the only sensor there (that I remember) is the temp sensor, and I have that plugged in with what I believe to be the proper connector.
