Guys,

Would like to asks what will be the implication if the IACV Motor doesn't work?
Is there a workaround if this part of the throttle body already fails?

I assume my motor is broken because once we tested it, it didn't pushes the (what do
you call it?) which makes the RPM higher or lower during startup :(

Thanks!

Your best bet would be to test it with an ohmeter. If that looks good, then make sure you have voltage to it, and continuity to the ECU. The tan ones are crap, so replace it with a black one if you end up replacing it.

One of the traces for that unit runs right under one of the caps on the ECU board, so you may end up finding the ECU to be the fault. It's not the most common failure, but I have an ECU that I had to repair that on.
