Post subject:	Help How do i change the front rotors ?
Hey guys, I am stock with the front rotors, I loose the axle, ball joint, the 4 bolts that hold the rotor with the "4 lugs base" I do not know the name for it, where the tire seats, but the rotor is stock in between, what is holding this piece ? is it a retaining ring from the inside ? I do not see any thing on the outside. Please help me I need to finish it today. Thanks, IBM

u have to take the whole assymbly to a shop and have them pressed off..and the new rotors pressed on..(thats the easiest way).. u also should replace the wheel bearings and seals while there out.. in the states i think its close to 100 for the seals and bearings...and a shop here charges 90 bucks for the labor to press them off and back on. im sure others have home made ways of doing this.. I used a slide hammer to take it off and hammered it back on..

Ok guys thanks, sorry for the late reply but I have been bussy with my 5.0 liter rebuild ! but I got them out it was a bitch to get them out of there too much ruusssttt!!! LOL IBM

Do you have enough thickness to get them cut? If so why not do it with a "on car lathe" save ya some time and money?
