Well, I am planning out my 4g63 swap into my 1.5l chassis. I have the timing belt mount from my 1g, and I looked at pictures of the 92-95 elantra mount side by side with the 1g timing belt mount, and they looked nearly the same. Could I use my 1g mount with a little trimming?

No it won't work without serious modification. Where it bolts to the body lies the problem.

Alright, Is there any other cars besides the 92-95 mirage that they can come off of? Im going to the junkyard tomorrow, so I figure I will ask.

the 92-95 elantra is your only bet, junkyards usually have elantra. other than the elantra you can go buy a 89 mirage mount

I really want to see what the clear answer to this is. I've searched and read about 100 different ones.

1.5L 4th gen chassis

1g motor/trans

are you going to need all the mounts out of an elantra? :-/ I've heard too many answers and just want to get it straight.

92-95 dohc 1.8L elantra OR 89 turbo mirage OR 1.6L NA csm sedan mounts. Slim chances of finding the latter of the two.

If that's what he/she means, then they're sadly mistaken... we 4g's must unfortunately seek the Elantra/Turbo mount too.
