Well, the 8v carb head has very small inlet ports and they are spaced close together in pairs which means you cant open them up very much with a port job. I would estimate that you could probably squeeze 110-120HP out of it. That would require a fully built motor with custom domed pistons and custom manifold for a twin-carb setup which for the price IMO is a waste of money. Better to spend it on a conversion and/or EFI setup.
