In the 12 valves defence, 12 valve responds well to modifying in my opinion and makes more power and torque. Any motor can make power depending on how ineficcient the design is to begin with. 12 valve motor has really crappy port matching and casting obstructions. It responds extremely well to port matching. I also believe it responds better to the addition of a larger throttlebody since it has an extra intake valve and larger porting.
Question: Which is the better engine; 2.0l SOHC or 2.0L DOHC. :D I bet we can find fans of both. Engine choice can be highly subjective and for differing reasons.
Ford Vs Chevy
Big block vs Small block
blah blah blah

theres nothing to do to the 8valve, NOTHING... besides porting and worthless modding...

Can't simply bolt up a new throttle body, maf, etc..

all you can really do is an intake system, and an exhaust. Which would end up being a big waste if your gonna go with a 4g6xt motor.
