This is most irksome, I have replaced everything I can think of and still I'm running super rich. New injectors (well, brand used, but from a known good motor at any rate), New head gasket, new plugs, new 02 sensor, new air filter, and yet it remains at about 9X the allowable limit for HC emissions (indicating an extremely rich condition) Does anyone know what if anything I can do to lean this thing out to a tolerable level? The housing people are comming after me for my "non-moving" vehicle and if I don't have it plated within the month either it goes or I do

Any one have ANY ideas? I'm open to even crazy ideas as to what's wrong.

Coolant temp sensor? TPS/ISC properly adjusted? Bad cat? Bad MAF?

Any of these things seem plausible?

bad fuel pump or regulator???? i had a starter on my talon go crazy on me the other day was drawing to much power, i would check the fuel pump for that kind of a condition, or the coolant sensor like the last post, if it think the engine is like -10 all the time its going to be rich all the time, electronic choke stuck????, there are ways to check voltages and resistance of these circuts to determine the faulty part, its usually in the manual, or the alldata online stuff if you wnat access i have membership to alldata i can get you whatever you want. Also i dont know how these cars compensate for altitude etc, it could be an issue with that

Had a problem like that at one time, the car ran but it ran rich as shit! It turn out to be the ignition box on the firewall. It also maybe the air/tem sensor.
