So I ran a VIN inquiry on my Colt tonight in the Chrysler database and found all the manufcaturer codes for the body, engine etc. I also have a digital build sheet of the car but the codes have no descriptions whatsoever. If anyone can chime in with Mitsubishi's build sheet codes or an idea that'd be awesome. Needle in a haystack I know. Here is what it says: VIN: JB3BA24K6JU095723 Body Style: 1DL24 Engine: EJ2 Transmission: DCB Color 1: PA1 Options: *L6 DESCRIPTION NOT AVAILABLE -SA DESCRIPTION NOT AVAILABLE CLA DESCRIPTION NOT AVAILABLE DCB DESCRIPTION NOT AVAILABLE EJ2 DESCRIPTION NOT AVAILABLE GFA DESCRIPTION NOT AVAILABLE IFJP DESCRIPTION NOT AVAILABLE PA1 DESCRIPTION NOT AVAILABLE T2AA DESCRIPTION NOT AVAILABLE I really have no idea as to what they are but it would be cool to know. My guess is that "-SA" is subtract for the passenger mirror since my car didn't come with one. If anybody has an original turbo car I can run the VIN as well to find the differences between codes. |

I could only guess at some of these. IFJP wants me to say If Japan built Plymouth badged. Or something to that effect. Strange nomenclature, much like decoding a Mitsu with no database to work with. |
