I was just curious if there are any differences from a 1985 mirage turbo to 1987? From what I can tell the body seems the same, but what about interior?

the interior is different the later years had different center consoles. Although I think you could install one into an earlier car. The exterior is different too, headlights and grill, and possibly front fenders too. Most parts will swap over the chassis code is still a c12/13 right?

hmm I'm gonna have to look at them more closely now. I was looking atr a 85 from the outside on cl and couldnt really see any differences.

So was 86 the change over year for the changes?

As far as exterior differences the most basic was that the 85 &86 both had recessed headlights where the 87 had flush mounted. Also the 85/86 colt had a flat hood with no ridges or creases where the 87 had a ridge and raised portion at the center of the hood. I am sure there were other more subtle differenced but I cannot think of them right off of the top of my head...
