Those pics are interesting, I wish I could jsut climb underneath one lol. Does oil pressure suffer from being it that location?

If anything, oil pressure would be higher at the ofh compared with the head since it's closer to the pump.

Right, but does overall engine oil pressure suffer from having the turbo feed from there. On the DSM forums people say that is too much for the turbo and the engine will suffer from a loss of pressure. I suspect this is a typical place to mount a feed for a oil pressure gauge anyways thou it may be a sealed unit. I guess it's just gonna have to try it. So the fitting attaches to the OFH and then the sending unit and feed to it?

Unless you tap a huge hole in the OFH and use large diameter line like #6AN oil pressure to the rest of the engine will not suffer. Your best bet will be to use #3AN.

Great! I think I'm gonna spend the weekend installing everything! I have to research on how AN fittings work, I know what they are but nothing else.... Thanks for your all help so far.

So I'm gonna need smaller injectors than the 390's or 450's any ideas what else is out there? I know 3000GT's use 210's and 2.0 dsm's use 230's. I think I'm gonna need in the 300 range....

I was having trouble clearing the water pipe with the turbo, does anyone have a photo of that? Also I notice alot of folk going to the MPI of the 4G37, how is that working for ya all? Does the Throtle body leak under boost?

When you look at getting injectors be sure you get the correct type that you need. NA 4g63s came with injectors that do not need the resistor pack. I do not know what type the 3KGT injectors are.

AN fittings are super simple. Tighten the fitting on hand tight plus a quarter turn. You do NOT use thread tape or anything like that.

Well, I already wired in the resistor pack for the low resistance injectors. Amazingly the high resistance ones still work for me :-?
However what other sizes are out there? The other DSM folk say I won't be able to tune the 450's or 390's with a SAFC becuase they are just too large. What kind of injectors did the 4g61's come with?

Any pics of that water pipe?

1.6l came with the 390's. I'm running 450 on my g32b 1.6l with a eprom dsm ecu.

Who said this? D00ds run 750cc/min injectors with SAFCs on 1Gs all the time.

Thats what I was thinking! However this other dude on DSM1eights has the 390's and has his AFC leaned all the way and he says his wide band says rich as richy ritch! I haven't tried hooking the SAFC up yet, it's the NEO. The 450's should be fine then right? I mean if ya all running 390's on the 1.6. Where did you get a DSM eprom for that car or how to make it work? I am assuming you have the multi port manifold right?

The guy you are refering to probably has other issues that he has not discovered yet. My 1.6 runs 560cc EvoVIII injectors BUT I have ECMLink version 3 to compensate for those injectors.

The most important thing to pay attention to when playing with an SAFC is the wiring when you install the thing. Using a wideband with an AFC is the best idea.

Thanks for helping me out man. I really appreciate it. I gotta get a few more things figuerd out before I continue my turbo swap.

1) Get a down pipe
2) Custom waste gate actuator
3) Figure out what size bolts the down pipe flange uses.
4) Oil drain pipe...
