Has anyone converted to HID headlights? What kind and where did you get them? My lights are so dim I can't see. I upgraded with some Sylvania bulbs and that made it a little brighter but not much. I really want to get some HID's in there.

Thank you!

Thanks for the site! Just bought the 35W DDM slim kit with 9004 hi/low 6000K. Will report back on the installation and how it works later. Thanks again!

I had that kit in my car last year. They didn't last long.

The price wasn't bad though. Considering Silverstars cost just as much and only last a year anyway.

lifetime warranty on the ballasts from the link i posted, di your bulbs burn out? for 25$ a pop for a kit, not too shabby.

i just use modified 9006 bulbs on mine. all you have to do is cut the small tab inside the socket of the bulb and it will fit and be much brighter. :)

Yeah that's where I bought mine (DDR tuning), and it was a ballast that crapped out. I think the "new" ballasts are lifetime, but at the time I bought my kit they had different ballasts. I might get another set; they are even cheaper now than when I got them. They were nice too.

Got the HID installed! Wow, what a difference it made. The install was very easy and straight forward. It was so bright, I had to cover up about 1/3 of the lens to keep it from blinding incoming cars!

I have an almost identical kit on my sedan and they are fantastic. Turn them on in the daylight and every reflective sign turns blue! I got the 10k ones. They are almost purple.
