so i found this on ebay, http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayI ... MEWAX%3AIT i was figuring that since we can use elantra brakes, maybe this would work. so i contacted this guy and he said the bolt pattern is still the same, all i would need to do is find a hub that will let me use the non captive roters. not sure how well it would work, and for 800 bucks i wont be buying it anytime soon, but i thought someone here may want to give it a second look, oh and you will need a 17" wheels(maybe some 16s but more likely 17s). so if some one knows more about the hub, and caliper set up from this year elantra, let me know, cuz if work ever picks back up, these are the kind of brakes i want.

elantra brakes will fit perfect no need to change the hub, only the caliper and rotor, i used eclipse calipers with elantra rotors,,,,you can use galant vr4 rotors with eclipse dual piston but that is another story

ya, i know they fit, but these are non captive. from the later years, like 98-02 or 3, or something. there still all the right size, so they can work. will take a little work im sure but how sweet would it be to have a 13 inch brakes with 4 piston fixed calipers. like i said, i will run this set up some day, if i ever go back to work.....

captive was 97, and some early 98's.

my best friend is parting out his tiburon. im gonna snag his OEM brakes off it. those stocker have to be a slight upgrade over the small stockers on the colt i have.

what year dsm's have the dual piston calipers that are usable?
