I remember that day...just sad. On the other hand, what a neat looking colt!

**forgot to add** something I have learned from people on this board....don't get overly paranoid about doing everything possible to protect your cars, cause when it all boils down to it....well, the unforeseen can happen and you lose something anyway.

Hi guys,
Hopefully i'll be getting back in the Colt business soon. Life's been hard too with the economy and all...

Hey j2dapo,
I could really use your help. When mark sent me the car he sent all the documents by email and the car when through customs alright, no problem. Then about a month later, I when to the california DMV, they said none of the facsimile documents where acceptable. When I contacted Mark he said he had already diposed of all the original Colt paperwork. Typical of the Cal DMV, When I asked what I should do after standing in line for two hours, she said "tough shit" and "not my problem". I hired a professional DMV secretary from one of the large car dealers and had no more luck than I did.

With this long winded story I guess I'm saying, "I need a friend in Canada" to apply for a duplicate title. I would make it worth your while $$ ;=). Let me know if you are interested. Obviously no rush unless Docs in Canada are destroyed after a time.

John
