1) What is the max psi I can run to stay in a safe efficiency range with the td04 11b?

2) I looked it up but am unclear on whether or not the 13g is a direct swap into the 9b turbine housing, or does it require machining? I know the L and HL turbine wheels are larger and require machining of the turbine housing, but I thought the 13g is still a normal sized td04 wheel?

Yes td04 13g works, it's in my car now. The wastegate actuator does not, you need to figure tbat one out. I rotated the compressor housing to point down an had some small brackets tig welded onto it for the old 9b actuator.

It's a small turbo. It's going to produce a lot of heat and be fairly inefficient at higher boost levels. I wouldn't run more than 12-15psi out of one, and frankly, I'd be shocked if you could get it to hold 15psi to redline.

On the 11b I was thinking 10-12psi max, just wanted to make sure it will be fine in that range and not overspin it. The intercooler core is 23x6.5x2.5, IAT is 22-24*C at cruise and 26-30*C at WOT running 8psi right now.
