hey guys,
Ive done some research on turbo options for the g32b using the stock ex manifold . some people are using an 11b compressor stuffed into the turbine side of a 9b. the 11b is not much bigger than the 9b and no gains have been claimed that i know of.so far i know the 3000gt uses twin tdo4-9b turbos, this happends to be the same turbo on the 87-88 mirage/colt turbos they also use the same 3bolt pattern for the turbine side .this turbo is called the TD04-15g its a direct bolt on to the 3000gt and also the g32b ex manifold. im not sure if the ex port for the 15g is the same as the g32b mani but thats nothing a little porting cant fix

hope you all enjoy

That is good to know. I just wonder if you would be able to swap the internal from the 15g onto the 9b?! Do you know how much cfm the 15g put out?

Thank you!

I'm willing to bet that would be WAY too laggy on a SOHC 8v 1.6L engine. That's a very big upgrade, and would require an upgraded fuel system and some sort of aftermarket tuning device and larger airflow meter to make everything work properly. I don't even think anyone makes such a thing, you'd probably have to convert to a standalone and convert to speed/density.

yes true it would be a huge upgrade but Ive seen members with 16g turbos i would ask them about the turbo lag on that ,and maybe some Starion injectors and ecu and maf might help some to keep it running the least . then if that doesn't work you can also put a 13g fits just like the 15g and 9b, then mabey a 15g with ms? there's a lot of ways to make it work for me ,id rather work my way down from the 15g to the 13g then ms if it doesnt work, my goal is to get the g32b to put 200hp to the wheels or more with the TBI set up.then MPI with a 16g and then on (rambling sorry lol)
but as for the cfm maps ,i have them for the stock 9b the 13g and the 15g ,but feel free to correct me if im wrong on anything. i would hate to mislead anyone on this set up or get there hopes up so they cab fail horribly lol

-enjoy

I'm not seeing them either. They weren't linked properly.

I believe that the 3 bolt flanges on the 3000/stealth's are not the same as the g32b manifold. Look at that picture closely and your see that the bolt holes are not equality spaced.

But you can bolt up a td04 center section to the g32b's 9b hot side housing, just make sure its a td04 and NOT a td04H or td04HL. I know this because I am running a td04 13g on my g32b.
