the predesesor to the ecotec

the ecotec has alot more sensors and is was more difficult to addapt

all parts are machined motor goes together this weekend
then to the yard to get my cavalier stuff

tomorrow i order my head studs from ARP yes they do make "a stud kit" for the g32b only problem is you have to order it one piece at a time instead of it being listed as a kit

Looking good. I wish I would have built my bottem end. Any way can arp peace a set together for the whole motor? Or do you have to just look for the peaces you need? Also, let's hear more about your ecu, what's the word on that thing?

i maybe going Electromotive on the ecu.... one of my families very good friends is the head tuner installer and design guy for Electromotive so i may just do that. but i dont know

as for the ARP thing just have all the specs for your bolts size, pitch, length and what its being used for and call ARP and they will tell you if they make a bolt for that.

im diggin the new electromtive unit

you can set it to do anything you want
turbo timer
4 stage boost control (i think)
8 knock sensors
8 egt's
coil packs
i mean everything you can think of

Nice, what kinda price range on it, also, has it been tuned for the 32b befor, I am still ln surch for a good ecu that will not be to big of a pian to program and tune.

they have put this system on snow mobiles, hyabusa's, jaguar's, Lt1's LS1's you name it

so i got a electromotive TEC 1 the old school Stuff doesnt have all the bad ass features but still awesome and alot of the features

best part 250 bucks for pretty much everything

so woot woot ill get some pics up soon motor is going to go together next week
