mods:
head from a 1.8
jet valves welded shut
ported and polished
bigger valves on both sides
2.5 piping all the way back with no cat
stock internals
injectors from a starion
ecu from a starion
15 psi with no ic yet
on stock turbo
drive train is stock with a new clutch sliping already


what hp do you guys thinkning it puting at the fly wheel or wheels
havnt dynoed it yet and want to take it to the track soon

the head works then? thought about it a few times but never anything more. how about mpi, you think about doing that. let me know id like to see your numbers, i could start work on the head swap right away. also closing off the jet valves, i am doing my head tomorrow should i do it to the stock head, is there a way to just plug them, let me know quick.... thanks

yup my uncle did it a while ago .the jet vavles are still there ,he welded them on the top middle and bottom so its a plug up job and took out the springs also when he got the bigger valves they put bigger rocker arms so they dont work the jet valve at all . as for the head and mpi conversion........still wanting to see what i can get with the eci . trying to take it to battle of the imports here in orlando on sunday lol i want some numbers :butthead:

the 1.8 doesnt have jet valves. so do you have a 1.8 head, or do you have a 1.6 head with the jet valves welded closed?

he may have a head from a old tredia or cordia with that 1.8

well i went to the street races and had a lot pf ppl asking me about the car lol. well i found out i can keep up with 5th gen mirages with the 1.8 in them =]

ok took apart the car and its a 1.8 head for sure with the 1.8 cam go figure lol
