you dont even need to add a piece actually. if you cut the shifter right at the ball, then like an inch lower then the ball. then you can just flip it, and reweld it. that way your not adding length to it which can even mess up the linkage more.

i posted with pics awhile back, how i installed a tiburon shifter into my colt. if i could do that, any short throw for the tiburon would work in our car also. :)

ya thats what messed me up, the thing comes down from under the car, i seen that tibby mod and wanted to try it out but i guess i am a year early for that right. oh well, short, long, who gives a crap, i just want to get back to work so i can pump more cash into this thing and really see what it will do. so here are the new plans..... i am putting a td05 on it, with a 1g dsm o2 housing, and a full 2 1/2" exhaust, found a sweet air filter with a coustom made plate that fits our mas right in it and lets you get rid of the air can, my sister is a welder and she is coming out in a week and we are going to make a new exhaust manny, with a 38 mm wast gate flang, and she will weld up my new exhaust. after that i just need to relokate the battery, and get new brakes, tires, and then i am off. i talked to a guy here in town that has his 32b boosted to 18 psi and said he new a guythat ran 20, so in all hopes thats my goal. any way every one, thanks again, you have all been a great help.

seems a bit over priced. considering it would flow the same amount as a gutted stock airbox. but i guess if your to lazy or not equipped to cut down the stock airbox, it would be a decent choice.

deco, thats wierd about your shifter cables. mine sit on top of the exhaust tunnel inside the car, then go through the firewall i believe.

well what year are you, mine is a 86 sedan. i agree with the wierd, i seen all these pics on here so i figured it was the same. oh well right, the shifter is long so i would guess that if i shortend it up i could shorten the shift up. i wont though, not really worth it. oh and i dont have the stock air box to cut, also, i am moving the intake to the front.

88 hatch. my last 88 hatch had the same shifter set up also. but it was a twin to my current one. lol.

you should take some pics of your set up. differences like this are good to reference for future search's if you know what i mean.

Ha, so with that said upcoming, need a snap ring to put my turbo back together, need new intake and exhaust gaskets. Then tiers, windsheld, and we are on the road. Thanks for every ones support, and maybe some one else has something to say.
