the dsm bumber is on. it was a pain but it worked. i am useing fiberglass to flare the finders. i even made brakets so that the bumper bolts up and is easy to remove. it looks really good.

thanks, can you fix these ones also. these will show the grill, and how i am flaring the finder to match the bumber. i am useing fome, then sanding, then coverring with fiberglass. then i will bondo, sand again, then paint. its really starting to look a lot like a car.

wow, you turbo'd the 1.5? thats different!

you got it to fit alot better then i thought could be done. the fenders, and it being to wide made me just decide to find something that would fit better. also, the dsm bumper is curved pretty bad were it meets the headligths, and grill. and my 88 is straight across, and left a massive gap. just wasnt worth the work to me.

but mad props to you for going through with it. looks like you have done alot to your car.

His car came with a 1.6 g32b turbo. not a 1.5 g15.

how is your intake set up then? since yours is on the side, instead of facing the front. it through me off.

ok so now i cant figure whats up with my shifter. i pulled the boot to get a look at what was going on in there and what do i find? nothing at all. a hole. yes the shifter runs under the car and all the cables run under the car to the trany. now my question is this. what trany do i have, and has any one done any mods to this set up. i was hoping to do a short shift but now its not looking like i can.

are trans code is either

km162, 172, or 182

there is no short shifter for our car but....... (there is always a but)

if you pull the shifter out the bottom (yes thats how it comes out) by the 2 or 4 bolts on the floor around the shifter. Then disconnect the linkages on the trans. and if you cut the shifter right below the swivel ball and add a piece in there you will have made a short shifter if you want ill do mine then post pics.

Deco give me a call if you have any questions

BTW i order my pistons and gasket kit all i need now is a 4g63 harness and odds and ends stuff
