Hey All:
It started with just a flash every now and then when I really get on the gas, and now when ever I am accelerating away from a stop, or gas it after a corner, the coolant level warning light flashes. It seems to happen as the car hits bumps too. Weird thing is I topped up the coolant resevoir and the rad, and it is still flashing. Possible the sensor is a problem, or some weird airlock in the system? Anyone have experience troubleshooting the coolant system?

+1. I was having the same issue with my car, until I looked in the owners' manual and realized that our cars don't have a low-coolant light. It's probably your washer fluid resevior. I went ahead and topped mine off after I realized what was going on, and I noticed there was a fatty crack in my resevior and all that new fluid dumped out on the ground. :(

Nope the c13 doesn't have the low coolant light its the washer fluid. pretty annoying light, and in 'holy cow she's gonna blow' orange too. There's a sweet spot that makes the warning light flash awkwardly when the cars moves up and down when accelerating.

I agree. Take a look at your fluid resevoir and go from there.

Wow, that is laughs. Thanks guys. I thought for sure my head gasket was leaking or something. Funny thing is that I have been trying to use up my washer fluid as I think it has summer fluid in it (pink) when I bought it, and Edmonton winters don't tolerate summer washer fluid.

The way it was flashing while accelerating, I was getting ready to sell the car!
