Hey,

I have lowered my colt and put on 15'' OZ wheels with low profile tyre's recently, look's cool but I thought it would sort my steering problem!! It didn't.....
Before I done the suspension/wheels the car felt like it was rolling when I was cornering, I thought the spring's were just too soft but since I've lowered the car it's still the same, It feels like when you steer the car it takes a second for the car to actually change direction!! :o
Scary stuff!!!!!
Anybody any suggestion's on what I need to change to stiffen it all up?
Thanks

you can put a scope sway bar but it sounds like you need an alignment

Check all the front end parts for looseness, and the bushings for the suspension parts like sway bar links as they may have rotted off by now. Installing a better sway bar is the best thing to do to help with the nose plowing on cornering and just for better on center handling in general.

Check your wheel bearings at all four corners also!

I had both on my car, IMO the wagon bar fits better, the scoupe bar was really close to, if not hitting, the rack.

Pull the sway bar, and the mounts. You should probably get new end links, I got some from ebay for cheap, or hit up a parts store.
