hello everyone, I have am early 95 summit with a 2.4 and 100k. I have an early 95 gsx with 100k, a bunch of go fast parts that needs a tranny. I have already spent a bunch of money on the motor and stuff to swap my van. I am doing as much research as possible. research is telling me I cant use a 2g auto trans. the van is staying an auto. does anyone have a rvr trans or can I just change the clutches in my stock trans to upgraded gsx clutches.

wiring, where can I find the pin out for my van and the gsx. how do I make the tach work. anybody make conversion harness.

The goal of the build is 500 hp and 11's quarter mile. I would like to look into a rally style suspension when the swap is complete.

Any words of wisdom?

I would post pictures, but I don't know how. Lol.

You could aways post those photos on Facebook page :)

Suspension upgrade is easy in the front, but very difficult in the rear.

you cant just switch clutches in non turbo trans. there are more parts inside that are turbo duty. you want an RVR trans. (period in my book) you can get factory manuals for your car on ebay. I think I paid 15 shipped. I will be posting my notes on converting 1994 harness to turbo duty in my build thread including how to make tach work.. I have my car running/shifting perfect on a 98 turbo ecu.

please post your location in your profile when you get the chance.

as far as finding one my only advice would be to check out the link below.

RVR transmissions have been harder and harder to get lately. You might look into a 2g Auto transmission and get someone to weld up some modified mounts so they work for you.

I don't know what I am going to do, not much info out there, beside get a RVR tranny. The RVR might be my best option but if I can't find one, I will have to figure something else out.

How do I tell the difference between a RVR auto and a 2g auto?

trick to finding rvr is just finding jdm 7 bolt engine with a/t awd trans from importer. they dont call em rvr. and they are happy to sell trans first. easy to spot correct trans as the rear roll stop mount is unique to this car.

I have read people talking about the different mounts. I don't know what a roll stop mount is. Google here I come

if the importer sells a 7 bolt with auto trans, the buyer buys it for a 2g eclipse. Does the tranny fit? Will a RVR transfer case fit on a 95 gsx?
