i just had to buy it. saw this car browsing craigslist posted back in may,
and i added it to to the craigslist sighted post for others to see.
saw it thursday night again reposted. left friday morning and picked it up in portland.
Im totally stoked on a new project i wasnt looking for and didnt need ha ha
the dent on the sliding door is the only one. its super clean and rust free otherwise.
the interior except headliner is great for the age and a nice grey/blue color.
no power windows or locks, no cruise but has power mirrors, intermittent wipers, and ac.
should be the six-bolt 2.4 right? built in august of 91. and only 127k miles!!
hasnt been driven more than a thousand miles since 09.
here is the add from craigslist:
1992 Plymouth Colt Vista AWD
Handles AMAZING in the snow
Clean title
Starts, runs & drives
127xxx Miles
Complete interior
Detailed maintenance records from 1998- 2009
Owned by a 90 year old lady that died in 2012 and sat for 2+ years in Seattle.
I bought the car understanding that it would be a project.
Replaced old wheel studs with New lugs and nuts
New alternator
Definitely a project car & needs some attention to be at 100%
Trans diagnosis, leaky radiator, need to wire a 'push to start' button.
Priced to move this week!
