Been a while since I updated this.
The swap is complete and the car runs. We did the following
Swapped Ring gear to 5 speed DSM
Manual Swapped shifter and cables and used a 1g AWD gear box
Fabricated solid engine mount in the front
Used 1G Avid tuner engine mounts for the driver / passenger
Fabricated Intercooler pipes for using a Buschur racing backdoor intercooler
Fabricated 3 inch downpipe and catback section that dumps out the driver side behind the driver door
Fabricated some radiator brackets out of aluminum so the 1g radiator would work.
Engine build is
6 bolt short block with Ross pistons, eagle rods, on a OEM 2.0 crank. OEM oil pump, front case. L19 headstuds with a Flat Out head gasket
6 bolt head with Ferrea valves, Crower springs/retainers, Kelford 272 cams, Fidanza cam gears, Mitsubishi valve cover with -12 AN fitting for catch can setup

FP red turbo (25 psi on pump, 30 psi on E85)
