C53A aluminum turbine/C4 Corvette style turbo rims are all 14", and they barely clear (dang close!) the caliper at the furthest point outward, with new pads installed.
They clear 266mm rotors/calipers for turbo Colt / Mirages.

You need to get into 15" Galant VR4 rims.
They clear twin piston 275mm rotors/calipers.

That is what I have had to move to, to use larger brakes on my car. Van's would be the same, if using twin piston setups.

Well, the red 92 summit is lowered quite a bit on cut springs. A tried some 17x7 42 with 225/50/r17 on it. I didn't have lug nuts that fit so I could not bolt them and lower the car weight on the rims. In the air there was a 1/4 inch of gap (which should change as the spring compresses. These same rims in the air had 3/4 of an inch of gap on a stock 93 summit.....the gap I am referencing is between the pedestal and tire. Still trying to make up my mind between 17s and 16s and the width of rim. I do realize this is not the place to discuss this, but it has been brought up before

This all great info but its no longer "clean expo pics" can we keep this kind of stuff seperated so this forum remains just that much better of a resource. And just as a side note and reminder or motivator for us all, It seems there are so many pic threads, suspension threads, wheel tire fitment threads etc, that get started or even exist but for whatever reason, and we are all guilty, people dont stick to them or revisit them to make the appropriate addittions which make those types of threads so valuable.

Not trying to bitch. My only intention is to positively reinforce this forum that i quite enjoy :supz:

Ah man that burgundy one looks just like my last Summit wagon. My favorite out of the 4 I've owned because I saved it from the junkyard and did a ton of work to it. The 92 GVR4 wheels look right at home on it too.

That exact interior is in that one I told you about at the junkyard, even had a power sunroof.

Wow, I love that interior. I took the carpet and seats out of mine today, needles to say the interior needs replaced. Although the dash is still mint?
