I have often searched for forums that have Wagon/Van enthusiasts, mostly without much luck.

Mitsubishi-forums.com has a sub-forum:
http://www.mitsubishi-forums.com/f74-ex ... -forum.htm

But it is pretty weak, almost no activity and when it happens, it is usually some "civilian" asking about his bone stock 1.8 FWD van.

However, http://www.4Gtuner.com, from down under, has very active RVR sub-forum:

http://www.4gtuner.com/forum/52-rvr-spo ... technical/

Since they already have turbo 4G63s in their vans, their discussion tend to focus on modifications, repair and maintenance, rather than engine swaps. But still, nice to see a community that actually races these vans!

One of the reasons why they are so popular down under is because Mitsu really marketed these little vans in that part of the world. I checked out one classifieds website from NZ and found 90+ different RVR's for sale at the same time! Most of them were AWD and 10 were Turbos! Not bad for such a tiny country!

In US, you can barely find any 10 vans (FWD or AWD) between Ebay and Autotrader!

I really can't believe that they didn't sell more of these things. They are very comfortable and practical, tons of room and not too bad on gas. You would think they would be everywhere in the US but they aren't. I see a few on the road but not many. Thanks for the links though, I will be sure to check them out.

I will catch the other guy with the red/black summit wagon on the galant board and ask him to join here as well. I'm sure he'll have tons of useful info for us.

FYI, a guy started a Colt Vista/Expo/Summit Wagon site early this year.

http://www.coltvista.com

It still in its infancy, though.

Nice find!

At first, I was a bit surprised that he chose to focus on Vista (and not Summit/Expo), but then I realized that they are talking about the previous generation wagons (87-91). In US, Summit didn't appear until '92 and I am not even sure if they had Expo of this generation).

That will be VERY expensive! Those parts are very drivable there and you will pay a premium for shipping, my guess is that it will cost $1000 each or $1500 for both. Not worth the trouble IMO.

I got fed up with lack of any active club for these vans on Facebook, so I started my own:

https://www.facebook.com/groups/1237020199659249/

For now, everyone can add members, please join and add anyone you think might be interested!

This is really weird, 18 members and most of them are from Autralia! Come on guys! Let's show them what we have got in US!
