Micah was nice enough to let me take the car to work today. It runs amazing well for 10psi and 3-minute butt tune. Still have clutch issues and probably trans (grinds sometimes). Once that is figured out we'll up the boost and go tune it at RRE.

Complete 1G AWD 5spd drive train. It was an auto car previously.

I am so close to doing this to my van. If I have to drop that heavy ass AWD automatic again it will probably not be going back in.

1993 5 speed awd vans are identical trans as 2g awd dsm, aside from the vc unit and housing to support it. (easily swapped out to make full dsm trans) t case is same as 92-on and rear diff ratio is the same. All you need with an awd van is a dsm engine and 1 motor mount. Its a super easy swap. But if you do what micah did then not so much. This swap was a hell of a lot more work than mine.

I dont know but i would bet the auto awd trans is borrowed from dsm too? and rear diff would also be sameratio as auto dsm? I just wish they would have used a dsm rear diff so a guy could swap in an lsd unit easily.

Great info-

As far as the diff, as long as the width is about the same, I bet the outer splines would be as well!
