so I have been searching for a few weeks for a clean AWD summit. very early in my search i realised it would prolly be easier to find a clean FWD car and then a beat up AWD for the hard parts. I missed this car here. but it confirms my thought plan to find a clean FWD car for the base of the build. this car had 159k and they were asking 2275 for it. I would have been all over it like white on rice. this is the definition of a clean 22 year old car. holy moly.

Wow, that is nice. Nice color combo too IMO. Hopefully something else will pop up in the near future.

215/45r17 or 205/45r17. can't really remember. They were stolen a week ago.

thats a bummer. sorry that happen for you. hate kids with no respect for others property. I was considering a 205/45/17 for my build. really want to see it first before commiting.

215's would be better ride quality and rim protection

I agree 215 is easier on the rim and would look better. I think you had 205 as it looks pretty small. but not too small for the car, I think it looked good. I have a lot of experience running 205/45/16 tires on 7 inch rims. not a problem getting good riding tires that protected the rim well. I always choose tires that are light weight and have a good ride (softer sidewalls) I am looking at a 17 x 7 rim so i think I am going to try 205/45. If rim was 7.5 I think I would stay with 215/45 .

The Red Summit had 215/45/r17. msr 13....the ride was a bit rough for the girl I was seeing (not a car chick). I am sitting on Thoms old Galant rims r16 (Thom correct me if wrong) currently and hoping that will smooth out the ride a bit. My rat rod rattle my teeth enough and rather take some of the shock out of the system from our wonderful Indiana roads. The next set of rims i would like to go 8" wide which might mean rolling the fenders or flaring them a bit, we will see. Looking at 17x8 +30 Rota g force. I need to find some more 16x8 rims.
I will get more pics next time I wash it.

Well I found out that stock colt rims don't even clear the caliper on the summit.
I also have some 15s that I got from someone on here and thought they were gt turbo rims....they are 15 but don't clear the side of the caliper...I bolted 1 all the way up and then realize that the rim was locked to the caliper.

Headrest rear seats? I didn't think we had those in US and always hated having my kids seat in the rear without those.... Now I need to find some :)

I am using 225 tires on 7 and 7.5 wheels. But there is room for 245s!
