im trying this on my 91 talon tsi and i got it to work but when i start moving it goes crazy then when i stop it works fine again. i get readings like 255 counts of knock at 7000 RPMs and im at like 2500. i dont know why it would be doing that.

Perhaps some sort of interference, ever taken the lid off your ecu to check its caps? How long is the cable?, ideally it should be as short as possible. |

i have never pulled the cover off the ecu. ill do that after school tomorrow. what do i have to look for? its not that long its long enough so that the plug is on the floorboard so the clips dont pull off from the weight. |

i fixed my problem. i had the clip on pin 11 not 12. i guess it was just touching 12 and it being on 11 too made some problems |
